‘Guilty Pleasures’ Addition: Lost in Translation

A movie star with a sense of emptiness, and a neglected newlywed meet up as strangers in Tokyo, Japan and form an unlikely bond.

[ 95% |  98%]

A movie that most all critics actually agree with me on. I don’t think anything will ever knock this movie out of my top 5 of all time. It just hits so well on every level. I fucking love Bill Murray, he deserves a lot more credit for his job in this and similar role[s]. Scarlett Johansson is an absolute beauty and just demands the affection of any male [and probably female] that sees this movie. I may dare to call this a perfect movie. Perfect.

  1. I love your review as this is one of my all time favorites but Im not sure it’s a guilty pleasure. Theres nothing embarrassing about this movie that I would be temperamental about telling someone I love this movie!
